As I’m folding sweaters and pulling coats out of storage for my trip to NYC, I’m dreaming of springtime and the pastel colors it brings. In Houston, we don’t really have four different seasons. We have two: “I can’t even BREATHE, it’s so hot and muggy” season and “oh, this isn’t so bad” season. The latter of the two is about to end, meaning all fashion rules are out the window, except for one: wear ONLY the minimum amount of clothing required to NOT be inappropriate. So long, cropped pants and lightweight sweaters…guess I’ll have to continue admiring you from afar.
