Did anyone catch the Grammy’s on Monday night? This magical evening captures two of my favorite things at once: fashion and music. Red Carpet coverage is always a “must watch” in my house – I love it and my husband tolerates it. He actually got into a bit this year…we discussed what we liked about all the different fashion choices, and he even agreed with me on most! Below I’ve rounded up my favorite looks from this year’s show.

T. Swift rocks the crop top ensemble, and she definitely pulled the red/pink look off much better than Kimberly Schlapman from Little Big Town. (Also, as much as I would’ve loved to see Kendrick Lamar take home AOY, I have to give mad props to TS. Her album really was fantastic.) Kacey Musgraves killed her Armani Prive gown – the purple/blue rainbow effect is just beautiful. Also, her lip color=ON POINT. Ellie Goulding’s pastel number appeared a bit too muted at first, but then when she turned around…It was an “OOO” moment. Her makeup was perfection, the color looked beautiful on her, and she really did a wonderful job with this outfit. Of course Selena would look phenomenal, because when does she not? She stood by proudly as her best friend performed and accepted awards, but she definitely didn’t let Taylor outshine her. Her navy gown was a jaw-dropper, and she has the perfect feminine curves to knock this one out of the park. Zuri Hall played it a bit safe, but I’m a sucker for black, mesh, sparkles and straps. The dress hugged her curves beautifully – that combined with her bold makeup made her one of my “best dressed” votes. Finally, Carrie Underwood. Although her black dress is the definition of “playing it safe,” she upped her game by rocking an edgy, but still feminine, hair-do. Usually everything is so put-together perfect for her that I have a hard time enjoying her styles – not this year.
Now, it’s on to Oscar season. Officially counting down the days…
